Chase has made a commitment to eradicate cancer in his lifetime. He doesn’t want to hear the words “I have Cancer” ever again.
Chase knows the overall “cure for cancer” is out of the scope of what he can do. He instead focuses more on the support services for people that need to get to their therapy appointments, treatments and/or surgeries. Providing support services for people with cancer is achievable and every goal Chase sets, he hits.
For a kid, tangible results are so important. They are so visual and like to see things from the start through completion. Versus the “cure for cancer” could be in our lifetime or someone else’s lifetime. So for Chase, being able to see he is buying 4,000 gallons of fuel to take people to their treatments really makes him so passionate about the cause.
Leading up to the Celebration Gala of Broward County, Chase committed to raise $10,000 for the fuel in the Road to Recovery program. He knocked this goal out the park! As shown in the attached video, Chase knows he couldn’t do it alone. Many thanks to everyone who donated for the cause. A very special thanks goes out to Susan & Jim Kimmel for reaching out to the American Cancer Society and offering to match Chase’s donation of $10,000!
Moving forward, the Community Foundation of Broward and C3 for Change will work together to allocate funds where they are most needed in the community. They help find projects that are the best fit for Chase and C3 for Change.
